Free Computer Giveaway

This week’s free computer giveaways came from “Maid For You in Boulder” that donated a computer and LCD monitor, while a donation of an IBM Thinkpad came from an anonymous donation from someone that wanted to recycle it for a good use. free computer Check out the CommUnity section of our site to see some past stories of free computer giveaways that have gone to people in Colorado that just needed a hand. Unfortunately at this time we unable to provide computers to people outside of Colorado.

But keep an eye out for a new non-profit we’re launching Computer-Planet, where with the help of generous financial donations, we’ll be able to provide computers to people all over the United States.

Wait, free computer, what?

Oh yeah, in case you haven’t heard, at MyNewITGuys we recycle computers that are donated by the community in Colorado, volunteers refurbish them, and we give them away every week to people that need them. To apply for your free computer, simple post a comment on our facebook group at and tell us how a free computer would make a difference in your life. Then suggest it to all of your friends and we’ll put your name in the weekly drawing.

The computers we gave away this week went to Brenda (Not home) and Edan, in Boulder Colorado. Check out the video below. (apologies ahead of time for the shakiness, we don’t normally tape these things, and I was a bit nervous)

But why do you give away free computers?

Good question. With the economy the way it is, there’s a growing number of people that need help, and not just in the IT field. So anyone that demonstrates need for a free computer, we’ll do our best to get one for you. Unfortunately we’re limited by the amount of computers people recycle with us, but we work daily to pick up recycled computers and try to help as many people as possible.

Post a comment on our Facebook group, get a free computer, it’s just that simple
